Steve Mclean
Meditation Expert
Steve McLean’s journey is one of transformation, resilience, and deep spiritual awakening. For years, he faced personal struggles that left him feeling lost, disconnected, and uncertain about his future. But through spirituality, he found his true path—one that not only reshaped his own life but also profoundly impacted his family, bringing them closer together and creating a future filled with purpose and hope.
Since finding his way, Steve has dedicated himself to helping others navigate their own struggles. His unique approach combines mindfulness, inner work, and lived experience to guide people toward clarity, strength, and self-empowerment. At SPEAK, he plays a vital role in supporting men who feel stuck, lost, or overwhelmed, showing them that transformation is not only possible but within reach.
Steve’s mission is simple: to help as many people as possible break free from limiting beliefs, rediscover their inner power, and build a life they’re proud of. His story is proof that no matter where you start, there’s always a way forward.

Bradlee Williams
Volunteer
34 years old, married, father of two
From the age of 15, I was trapped in a cycle of alcohol and later cocaine addiction that cost me everything. What started as following my parents’ drinking habits escalated into daily substance abuse, constant trouble with police, and multiple failed business attempts. At my worst, I was spending over £200 a day on cocaine whilst working as a bricklayer.
I hit rock bottom when I realised I was about to lose my family—the only thing that truly mattered.
Everything changed when a friend introduced me to Alfie. His vision gave me purpose and hope when I had none left. I committed to training with him and started running at 4am most mornings, gradually building from 2 miles to 10 miles. Those early morning runs gave me clarity and helped me rebuild my mindset.
I made the bold decision to leave bricklaying behind and pursue a career on the railway. After two months of persistent effort, I secured the job that would change my life.
Alfie’s support and motivation saved me. Now I’m 18 months clean, rebuilding my life, and determined to give back. I want to help others find the same hope and strength that Alfie showed me.
Recovery is possible. Your story can change too.
